Behind every statistic is a person whose life has been changed. With the continued support of our partners, donors, and volunteers, we are proud to help residents like Chris find stability and hope.

 

Having experienced homelessness and living on a limited, fixed income, Chris had almost lost hope of finding stable, affordable housing.

 

Wesley Housing’s Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) informed Chris about a vacancy in an apartment that was within his budget, and with the RSC’s help, he was able to move into a safe, welcoming space he could finally call home.

 

After moving in, the RSC realized Chris was lacking essential furniture to complete his home. The RSC contacted Gracing Spaces, a local nonprofit that donates gently used furniture.  The organization sourced everything Chris needed to transform his apartment into a warm, inviting space where he can build up his life.

 

For the first time in many months, Chris now enjoys the comfort and stability of a home he once thought was out of reach.
