Volunteer

Volunteers are the fuel behind our service-enriched housing mission. Volunteers help us operate five Community Resource Centers for children and families. Centers are located in Alexandria-Lincolnia, Arlington, Falls Church, and Washington, D.C. We also operate four Supportive Services Centers for older adults and people with disabilities. Your time, talent, and energy go a long way in helping children, adults, and older adults end the cycle of poverty.

Support Our Summer Camp

Our 5-week 2020 Summer Camp — from July 6 to August 7 — is hosted for 5 hours each weekday at our four Community Resource Centers in Arlington, Alexandria and Falls Church. The camp focuses on rising 1st-6th graders. We provide campers with exciting opportunities to learn new skills, explore the outdoors, build self-esteem and make lasting memories.

Without our camp, many of Wesley’s kids and teens would not have access to enriching summer activities that their more advantaged peers do. By keeping our campers engaged, we make sure they do not fall behind in school and stay on track for success.
